he key B2B industry exhibition for the child industry brought together industry professionals for the 12th time to identify and set trends in the Russian market for the coming year.
From February 27 to March 1, 2018 in Moscow, at the Crocus Expo IEC, the 12th International Specialized Exhibition of Goods for Children, Kids Russia 2018, opened another new season for the industry.
Traditionally, the event was held at the same venue together with Licensing World Russia - the only professional exhibition in Russia and the CIS countries devoted to the topic of licensing.
An unusually high concentration of fresh ideas, new and correct business partners, creative approaches to doing business in substantially changed economic conditions, a creative exchange of views and the transfer of professional experience - this result of the synergy of the two exhibitions was totally marked by the specialists who visited the exhibitions.
240 companies from 13 countries presented a large-scale exposition on an area of 9,000 square meters, which included all the diversity of the children's goods industry. The exhibition featured goods and toys for babies and toddlers, children's clothing and shoes, accessories, children's furniture, Christmas toys, gifts, school and hobby items, books, educational games, goods for outdoor activities, electronic and multimedia products, and much more. .
The exhibiting companies clearly showed by their participation in the exhibition that with competent, innovative work with the product and customers, the market for children's products not only develops, but also has serious potential for growth.
The exhibition showed significant qualitative growth of visitors, the number of regional visitors and international companies increased. For three days the event was visited by 10,456 people, almost a third of them took part in the event for the first time.
“I was pleased with the qualitative composition of visitors. We had meetings with our real customers and, most importantly, we received new business contacts, ”said Olga Poseva, Head of Sales, Drofa-Media.
“We have chosen the most creative, the newest, the most interesting. In our opinion, this exhibition is more emotional, more productive than even last year. Our colleagues have collected a lot of new profile questionnaires, ”said Natalya Zhuravleva, head of the development direction for toy wholesalers, RUSBABY.
21 international companies from Belarus, Great Britain, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, China, Latvia, Malaysia, Poland, Ukraine and South Korea presented exclusive products and unique novelties to Kids Russia, as well as got acquainted with the main trends and top trends of the upcoming season in the Russian market.
“We are very pleased with the organization of the exhibition. We noted a large number of visitors who are interested in working with us, received very valuable feedback on our products, as well as on current trends in the market of toys and gifts in Russia. We are considering the possibility of participating in the exhibition next year, ”commented Jolanta Aronen, Head of International Sales, Fizz Creations Ltd.
The organizers presented an updated rich business program, the participants of which were able to attend unique events, among which a special place was occupied by the Retail Forum “Secrets of Children's Retail”, as well as to gain new experience and knowledge in the field of children's goods and licensing industries.
The exposition of Licensing World Russia was presented by 24 companies. Among the participants are all key owners and licensing agencies doing business in Russia.

Many Kids Russia participants also noted that such a neighborhood with a licensed exhibition significantly expands the possibilities of business communications between professional participants in the children's and licensing industries, makes the event more interesting, rich and provides mutually beneficial cooperation.
“We are participating in the Kids Russia exhibition for the first time, and we really liked the atmosphere and organization of the event. All days at the exhibition we talked closely with potential customers, a lot of networks showed interest in our products, we gathered a lot of contacts. We consider the neighborhood with the licensed exhibition Licensing World Russia to be very successful. We recently purchased a license for “Fixiki”, under this license came 3D pens with this brand.
